Welcome To Trailblazers Discipleship Ministry

Trailblazers Discipleship Ministry is a three-day-per-week (Tuesday–Thursday) Bible-based after-school program that provides Biblical teaching and academic support designed to inspire today’s youth to grow spiritually, develop positive character, and gain the confidence they need to succeed in school and in life.  The ministry is partnering with New Birth Christian Ministries.

The no cost to parents after-school program is led by experienced Christian teachers.   For an added benefit, licensed school teachers provide tutoring in reading, writing, and math skills.  We provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn God’s Word, engage in meaningful activities, and receive support with key academic skills. The program is based on Matthew 28:19 (The Great Commission - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit) and teaches students about Jesus Christ and will help them learn that they have a responsibility to share His teaching to others that they meet. 

Initially, we will serve 3rd and 4th grade students at Easthaven Elementary School in Columbus, Ohio for the 2026–2027 school year. Students enrolled will be transported to New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refugee Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43232.  

New Birth parents that have student’s that meet the school grade criteria will also have an opportunity to enroll their child but they will need to provide transportation to New Birth.

Weekly Schedule

• 3:30 PM – Transportation from Easthaven Elementary School
• 3:45 PM – After-school meal
• 4:05 – 5:00 PM – Bible lesson, activities & games
• 5:05 – 5:45 PM – Academic support
• 5:45 - 6:00 PM – Parent pickup

• Support families by offering safe, structured after-school care
• Encourage respect, responsibility, and faith-based character
• In year two and subsequent years, invite the students that attended the prior year to return to continue growing in Christ and increase their academic excellence
